Sindh Food Authority Delegation Visits Punjab Food Authority Training School, Shahpur – 28th October 2025

A delegation from the Sindh Food Authority (SFA) visited the Punjab Food Authority Training School, Shahpur, to exchange knowledge and strengthen inter-provincial collaboration in food safety training, inspection, and enforcement practices.

  • Introduction to in-house and on-site training programs designed for food business operators, industry staff, and household food handlers.
  • Demonstration of the E-Learning Management System (ELMS) developed by PFA for online training and assessment, especially for household female trainees.
  • Discussion on training modes, mediums, and duration, along with interactive and practical approaches used by the Training School.

The visit concluded with an agreement to promote mutual learning, collaboration, and harmonization of food safety standards and training programs to ensure a safer food environment across Pakistan.
