Punjab Food Authority Multan Conducted Nutrition Awareness Camp Promoting Healthy Lifestyles, Multan

 

Under the directions of the Director General of the Punjab Food Authority and the Deputy Director Operations Multan, a Nutrition Awareness Camp was organized at NFC Institute of Engineering and Technology to promote healthy dietary practices and overall well-being among students on 28-04-2026. The activity engaged 58 participants through practical health assessments and awareness sessions, focusing on the importance of balanced nutrition and lifestyle choices. Services provided included weight and height assessment, BMI and body fat analysis, along with personalized diet counseling to guide individuals toward healthier habits.

The awareness session highlighted key aspects such as the importance of a balanced diet comprising grains, pulses, fruits, vegetables, milk, and eggs, while emphasizing the need to limit fast food, sugary drinks, and ultra-processed foods. Participants were educated on the significance of breakfast for improved energy and concentration, the role of physical activity, proper hydration, portion control, and healthy snacking. The session also underscored the strong connection between nutrition, mental health, and academic performance. Educational brochures were distributed to reinforce awareness and encourage the adoption of sustainable, healthy lifestyles for a better future.
