Punjab Food Authority Lahore Conducted Nutrition Awareness Seminar and Screening Camp at Light Education School System
Upon the directions of the Director General, Punjab Food Authority, Nutrition Section PFA Lahore conducted a Nutrition Awareness Seminar and Screening Camp at Light Education School System, Lahore, under Starfish NGO, to promote awareness regarding healthy nutrition and lifestyle practices on 21-09-2026. The activity aimed to improve nutritional awareness, assess the nutritional status of participants, and identify common diet-related health concerns. A total of 63 participants received nutritional screening and counselling services.
During the activity, participants were sensitized about the importance of a balanced diet, essential nutrients, healthy eating habits, adequate hydration, and healthy lifestyle practices. Basic health and nutritional screening was conducted, including assessment of height, weight, BMI, dietary deficiencies, and other health-related concerns. Participants were provided one-on-one dietary guidance and practical recommendations according to their nutritional needs. Awareness was also provided regarding healthy food choices and the importance of maintaining a balanced diet for healthy growth, energy, immunity, and overall well-being.
