Punjab Food Authority DG Khan Conducted Seminar on World Health Day Seminar on Promoting Balanced Nutrition and Healthy Living DG Khan
Upon the directions of the Director General, Punjab Food Authority organized an awareness seminar and camp was conducted at Unique Group of Schools Junior Branch DG Khan in connection with World Health Day to promote the importance of balanced nutrition and healthy lifestyle practices among students and staff. The session aimed to educate approximately 130 students and 60 staff members about the significance of proper nutrition in maintaining overall health and preventing diseases. Participants were also introduced to the role and functions of Punjab Food Authority in ensuring food safety and promoting public health awareness.
The seminar highlighted key topics including the meaning and importance of balanced nutrition, healthy eating practices, and the role of nutrition in disease prevention across different life stages. Discussions also focused on the consequences of poor dietary habits, the importance of adequate water intake, and maintaining personal hygiene for better health outcomes. Informational brochures were distributed among participants to reinforce key messages and encourage the adoption of healthier food choices and sustainable lifestyle practices for long-term well-being.
