Punjab Food Authority Rajanpur, under the directions of the Director General and Deputy Director Operations, organized a World Heart Day Awareness Seminar and Health Screening Camp at Graduate College Rajanpur. The campaign gathered over 100 participants and featured interactive sessions on the importance of heart health, prevention strategies and lifestyle modifications. Key topics included risk factors such as high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, smoking and stress, along with the role of balanced nutrition, physical activity and mental well-being in maintaining a healthy heart. Special focus was also placed on the nutritional needs of children, adolescents and adults at different stages of life.
To enhance community engagement, a health screening desk was set up to monitor blood pressure, blood sugar and other vital indicators. Nutrition focused brochures were distributed and students actively participated in learning heart friendly habits. A cake cutting ceremony was also held to mark the occasion, while the college management appreciated Punjab Food Authority Rajanpur’s continuous efforts in promoting public health and nutrition awareness.
