Punjab Food Authority Training School Lahore Conducted a Training Session at Chief Minister Secretariat, Lahore

Upon the directions of the Competent Authority, PFA Training School Lahore organized a dedicated Food Handlers Training Session at the CM Secretariat Lahore. The session focused on improving the food safety skills, hygiene practices, and operational standards of all food handlers working at the Secretariat.

TOPICS OF DISCUSSION:

  • Duties & responsibilities of a professional food handler
  • Personal hygiene, proper handwashing & PPE usage
  • Prevention of contamination & cross-contamination
  • Temperature control during cooking, holding & storage
  • Safe food handling & storage methods (FIFO system)
  • Cleanliness of utensils, equipment & workstations
  • Waste management & basic pest control
  • Food allergens, serving safety & kitchen discipline
  • Red, Green & Yellow Food Categories (Healthy Plate Guide)

Objective:
To ensure that food handlers at the CM Secretariat follow Punjab Food Authority–compliant hygiene and food safety standards, ultimately ensuring safe meals and a hygienic working environment.
