Punjab Food Authority Pakpattan Conducted Nutrition Awareness Seminar and Screening Camp at Kids Educare School
Upon the directions of the Director General, Punjab Food Authority, and Deputy Director Operations Pakpattan, Nutrition Section organized a Nutrition Awareness Seminar along with an Interactive Health and Dietary Screening Camp at Kids Educare School, Pakpattan, to promote healthy dietary practices and improve nutritional awareness among school children on 17-09-2026. Approximately 100 participants attended the activity, while around 50 children received screening and counselling services.
During the activity, children received interactive health and dietary screening to assess their nutritional status and dietary patterns. Nutritional counselling and guidance were provided regarding healthy eating habits and the importance of nutrient-dense foods. Participants were sensitized about balanced diet, essential vitamins and minerals, healthy food choices, proper hygiene, and nutritious lunchbox options. Practical guidance was also provided on replacing unhealthy processed foods with nutritious alternatives. A total of 50 educational brochures were distributed to reinforce key nutrition messages and encourage healthy lifestyle practices.
