Punjab Food Authority Pakpattan Conducted Nutrition Awareness Seminar and Interactive Health & Dietary Screening Camp at Al Azmat Educational Complex
Upon the directions of the Director General, Punjab Food Authority, and Deputy Director Operations District Pakpattan, Nutrition Section conducted an Awareness Seminar along with an Interactive Health & Dietary Screening Camp at Al Azmat Educational Complex, Pakpattan, to promote healthy dietary practices and improve nutritional awareness among school children on 25-09-2026. Approximately 40 participants attended the activity, while around 20 children received nutritional screening and counselling services. The activity included interactive health and dietary screening to assess the nutritional status and dietary patterns of children, followed by nutritional counselling and guidance regarding healthy eating habits and the importance of nutrient-dense foods.
During the activity, participants were sensitized about balanced diet, essential vitamins and minerals, healthy food choices, proper hygiene, and healthy dietary practices through a child-friendly awareness session. Practical guidance was also provided regarding healthy lunchbox options and ways to replace unhealthy processed foods with nutritious alternatives. Educational brochures were distributed to reinforce key messages regarding nutrition and healthy lifestyle practices.
