Punjab Food Authority Multan conducted Awareness Sessions on Heat Stroke Prevention and Nutrition Counselling for Food Outlet Staff, Multan

 

Upon the directions of the Director General, Punjab Food Authority organized a awareness sessions were conducted to educate staff members about heat stroke prevention, dehydration, and maintaining good health during extreme summer conditions. Participants were guided on recognizing early symptoms of heat-related illnesses and adopting preventive measures such as proper hydration, rest, and safe working practices. The sessions also emphasized the importance of a balanced diet in maintaining energy levels and overall physical well-being.

The initiative further highlighted the role of the Punjab Food Authority in promoting public health through nutrition awareness and counseling services. Staff members were introduced to PFA nutritional clinic services, including dietary assessment and lifestyle guidance to support healthier living. Practical tips on lifestyle modifications during hot weather were also shared to ensure safety and well-being at the workplace, and the management appreciated the awareness initiative for its positive impact on staff health education.
