Punjab Food Authority Lahore Conducted Nutrition Screening Camp for Children at Govt. Primary School Janjate
Upon the directions of the director General Punjab food authority, Nutrition Section conducted a Nutrition Screening Camp at Govt. Primary School Janjate, Lahore, to assess the nutritional status of children, address diet-related health concerns, and promote awareness about balanced eating habits on 09-09-2026. A total of 46 participants attended the camp. Nutritional assessments were carried out through measurement of height, weight, and other growth indicators to evaluate the overall nutritional status of the children.
During the activity, dietary histories of the children were collected to identify individual eating patterns and nutritional needs. One-on-one nutrition counseling was provided, with practical dietary guidance and healthy eating recommendations to address identified concerns. Informative nutrition awareness materials were also distributed to reinforce key messages and encourage healthy dietary practices among children.
