Punjab Food Authority Lahore conducted Nutrition Screening Camp at Khursheed Rasheed Hospital for Community Health Awareness, Lahore

 

Upon the directions of the Director General, Punjab Food Authority, Nutrition Section organized a Nutrition Screening Camp to assess the nutritional status of children and members of the local community. A total of 32 participants attended the camp on 10-06-2026. The activity aimed to identify nutrition-related health concerns, evaluate dietary patterns, and promote awareness regarding the importance of balanced nutrition for healthy growth, development, and overall well-being. The initiative also encouraged participants to adopt healthier lifestyle practices through evidence-based nutrition education.

During the camp, comprehensive nutritional assessments were conducted, including the measurement of height, weight and other growth indicators. Detailed dietary histories were collected to better understand individual nutritional needs and eating habits. Nutrition Section provided one-on-one nutrition counseling, offering practical dietary guidance tailored to participants’ requirements. In addition, educational nutrition materials were distributed to raise awareness about healthy eating, disease prevention and the importance of maintaining optimal nutritional status across all age groups.
