Punjab Food Authority Multan Conducted Nutrition Screening camp and Awareness seminar on Healthy Nutrition and Lifestyle
Upon the directions of the Director General, Punjab Food Authority, Nutrition Section conducted a Nutrition Screening Camp and Awareness Seminar at the All Pakistan Women Association (APWA), Multan, to promote healthy eating habits, balanced nutrition, and preventive healthcare through improved dietary practices on 28-07-2026. More than 100 women participated in the awareness session, while over 50 individuals benefited from nutrition screening and one-on-one dietary counseling services. The seminar highlighted the importance of balanced nutrition, healthy lifestyle choices, and evidence-based dietary practices for maintaining overall health and preventing nutrition-related diseases.
The activity further included individualized nutrition counseling, where participants received practical dietary guidance tailored to their nutritional needs and lifestyle. The session encouraged participants to adopt healthier eating habits and preventive health practices for long-term well-being. The event received an enthusiastic response, and the management of APWA presented an appreciation letter to the Director General, Punjab Food Authority, in recognition of the valuable efforts of the Nutrition Team in promoting community nutrition awareness and public health.
