Punjab Food Authority Lahore Conducted Nutrition screening and awareness camp for Student Health
Upon the directions of the Director General, Punjab Food Authority, Nutrition Section conducted a Nutrition Assessment Camp at the University of Home Economics to assess the nutritional status of students, identify diet-related health concerns, and promote awareness about balanced eating habits on 07-07-2026. A total of 35 participants attended the camp. Comprehensive nutritional assessments were carried out, including the measurement of height, weight, and other growth indicators to evaluate participants’ nutritional status and overall health.
During the activity, detailed dietary histories were collected to better understand individual eating habits and nutritional needs. One-on-one nutrition counseling was provided, offering practical dietary guidance and healthy lifestyle recommendations tailored to participants’ requirements. Informational nutrition awareness materials were also distributed to reinforce key health messages and encourage the adoption of balanced dietary habits for improved health and well-being.
