Punjab Food Authority Lahore Conducted Nutrition Screening and Awareness Camp for Children at Gulab Devi School
Upon the directions of the director General Punjab food authority Lahore, Nutrition Section conducted a Nutrition Screening and Awareness Camp at Gulab Devi School, Lahore, to assess the nutritional status of children, address diet-related health concerns, and promote awareness about balanced eating habits on 15-09-2026. A total of 38 participants attended the camp. Nutritional assessments were carried out through measurements of height, weight, and other growth indicators to evaluate the children’s nutritional status.
During the activity, dietary histories were collected to understand each child’s eating habits and nutritional needs. One-on-one nutrition counselling was provided, along with practical dietary guidance and healthy eating recommendations to address identified concerns. Informative nutrition materials were also distributed to reinforce key messages and encourage healthy dietary practices among children.
