Punjab Food Authority Lahore Conducted Nutrition Screening and Awareness Camp for Child Health
Upon the directions of the Director General, Punjab Food Authority, Nutrition Section conducted a Nutrition Screening Camp at Paradise Orphanage to assess the nutritional status of children, identify diet-related health concerns, and promote awareness about balanced eating habits for healthy growth and development on 18-08-2026. A total of 22 participants attended the camp. Comprehensive nutritional assessments were carried out, including the measurement of height, weight, and other growth indicators to evaluate the children’s overall nutritional status.
During the activity, detailed dietary histories were collected to understand individual eating habits and nutritional needs. Participants received one-on-one nutrition counseling, where practical dietary guidance and healthy eating recommendations were provided to encourage improved nutritional practices. Informational nutrition materials were also distributed to reinforce key health messages and promote the adoption of balanced dietary habits for long-term health and well-being.
