Punjab Food Authority Lahore Conducted Nutrition Awareness Seminar and Screening Camp at Kids Home Pakistan, Youhanabad
Upon the directions of the Director General, Punjab Food Authority, Nutrition Section PFA Lahore conducted a Nutrition Awareness Seminar and Screening Camp at Kids Home Pakistan, Youhanabad, Lahore, to promote awareness regarding healthy nutrition and lifestyle practices among children on 23-09-2026. The activity aimed to improve understanding of healthy dietary habits, assess nutritional status, and identify common diet-related health concerns. A total of 32 children received nutritional screening and counselling services, including basic health and nutritional assessment followed by brief dietary guidance.
During the activity, participants were sensitized about the importance of a balanced diet, healthy eating habits, essential nutrients, adequate hydration, and healthy lifestyle practices. Basic nutritional screening was conducted, including assessment of height, weight, BMI, dietary deficiencies, and other health-related concerns. Participants received practical dietary guidance according to their nutritional needs and were encouraged to make healthier food choices to support healthy growth, energy, immunity, and overall well-being.
