Punjab Food Authority Lahore Conducted Nutrition Awareness Seminar and Screening Camp at Bayt Imam Ali Orphanage
Upon the directions of the Director General, Punjab Food Authority, Nutrition Section conducted a Nutrition Awareness Seminar and Screening Camp at Bayt Imam Ali Orphanage, Lahore, to promote awareness regarding healthy nutrition, balanced dietary practices, and healthy lifestyle habits on 30-09-2026. A total of 17 participants were counselled during the activity. Participants were provided with nutrition education followed by basic health and nutritional screening to identify nutritional concerns and promote healthier dietary practices.
During the activity, height, weight, BMI, dietary deficiencies, and other health-related concerns were assessed. Brief individualized dietary guidance and nutrition counselling were provided based on the identified needs, with emphasis on balanced diet, healthy food choices, and maintaining healthy lifestyle practices.
