🚨 Zero Tolerance for Food Safety Violations

KHANEWAL: On the directions of the Chief Minister Punjab, Director General Punjab Food Authority Raja Mansoor Ahmad led a major crackdown against food safety violations in Khanewal.

During the operation, two juice plants and a snacks manufacturing factory were inspected, resulting in fines worth Rs. 2.4 million. Food safety teams also discarded 8,700 kg of mango pulp, 6,000 kg of rotten fruit, and 650 kg of substandard and prohibited ingredients.

The Punjab Food Authority reiterated its commitment to ensuring safe and quality food for the people of Punjab, with strict action against food businesses found violating food safety laws and standards.
