The Nutrition Section of Punjab Food Authority (PFA) Rajanpur, under the directions of the Director General Punjab Food Authority and Deputy Director Operations Rajanpur, organized a Health Screening Camp and Nutrition Awareness Seminar at Government Girls Primary School Zahir Pir. A total of 69 participants attended the session, which focused on First Aid Response for Vomiting and Diarrhea and the importance of maintaining proper hydration during the summer season.
The seminar highlighted essential topics including the causes and prevention of dehydration, the negative effects of caffeine and sugary drinks, and the role of essential nutrients in hot weather. Special emphasis was given to hydration needs across different life stages children, adolescents, and adults. Students were provided with nutrition focused brochures, and the school management appreciated the initiative, acknowledging PFA Rajanpur’s continuous efforts in promoting public health and nutrition awareness.
