Punjab Food Authority Lahore Conducted Nutrition Screening and Awareness Camp for Child Health

Upon the directions of the Director General, Punjab Food Authority, Nutrition Section conducted a Nutrition Screening Camp at Allied School, Westwood Campus, to assess the nutritional status of children, address diet-related health concerns, and promote awareness about the importance of balanced eating habits on 02-09-2026. A total of 15 participants attended the camp. The activity focused on supporting healthy growth and development through nutritional assessment and practical dietary guidance.

During the activity, nutritional assessments were carried out, including measurement of height, weight, and other growth indicators. Dietary histories were taken to understand individual eating habits and nutritional needs. One-on-one nutrition counselling was provided to address dietary concerns and encourage healthier food choices. Informative nutrition awareness materials were also distributed to reinforce key messages and promote balanced dietary practices for long-term health and well-being.
