The Nutrition Section of Punjab Food Authority, Lahore, organized a Nutrition Screening and Awareness Camp at Government Boys High School Jevan Hana, focusing on fostering healthy habits among school-going children. The camp aimed to improve students’ well-being and academic productivity through a series of targeted activities, including anthropometric measurements (weight, height, BMI, and fat analysis), dietary assessments using the 24-hour recall method and food frequency questionnaires, and personalized counseling sessions.
With 95 participants, the camp provided valuable insights into children’s nutritional status and equipped them with the knowledge to make healthier dietary choices. Educational brochures were distributed to further reinforce the importance of balanced eating habits, highlighting the impact of good nutrition on students’ growth and academic performance.
