The Punjab Food Authority (PFA), Faisalabad organized a Nutrition Awareness Seminar and Assessment Camp at the Government Municipal Graduate College Faisalabad. The event was conducted under the guidance of the Director General of PFA and the Deputy Director of Operations, PFA Faisalabad. Nutrition officers from PFA served as the key speakers, delivering crucial insights into the operations of the Punjab Food Authority, including its wings, food safety measures, categorization, and labeling. They emphasized the importance of maintaining a balanced diet, staying hydrated, and the role of exercise in promoting a healthy lifestyle. The seminar aimed to encourage attendees to adopt healthier choices for improved physical and mental well-being.
A total of 82 participants attended the seminar, which was followed by an interactive Q&A session, allowing attendees to engage directly with the speakers and deepen their understanding of the topics discussed. In addition, a nutrition camp was set up which was attended by 45 participants. The participants were offered personalized consultations and assessments. This event was part of PFA’s ongoing efforts to raise public awareness about the importance of healthy decisions in daily life.
