Worthy Director General inaugurated the Mobile Food Training Vehicle and the formal inauguration was also attended by all the Additional Director Generals of the Punjab Food Authority.
The Additional Director General (Head Quarter) demonstrated the Director General about the the whole mode of the Training on Wheels initiative of the PFA Training School and assured the commitment of Training School to achieve the Target of Imparting Food Safety Trainings to maximum Food Handlers through this unprecedented initiative as most of the very small scale food handlers were reluctant in attending Food Safety Trainings at PFA School due to high cost of Traveling and loss of business hours.
Training on wheels initiative will primarily focus on the Free of cost Trainings and Training School has developed a concise module for that purpose to impart the Training in 30 minutes. The core focus of this precise module will be to target main hygiene issues in food handling which if addressed are capable of alleviating 80% incidents of food safety.
Right after the formal inauguration PFA Mobile Training School initiative was made functional in Moon market. 10 food handlers of free of cost category were trained inside the wan and 28 food handlers of paid category were provided food safety level-I Training by requesting a Hall of Qadir Burger in moon Market outside of their business hours. Real-Time Testimonials of the Trained food handlers were also recorded in the end in order to know their thoughts about this new initiative by the Director General, Punjab Food Authority.
