The Nutrition Section of the Punjab Food Authority in Hafizabad successfully conducted a one-day Nutrition Awareness Seminar on the interlink between nutrition and liver health under the “Safe Food City Project.” The seminar aimed to address the pivotal connection between nutrition and liver health, emphasizing that the liver serves as the central cleansing system in the human body, but when it malfunctions, it can lead to various health concerns, such as obesity resulting in Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD). The targeted audience for the session was Food Business Operators. At this event, a comprehensive awareness lecture was presented, highlighting the relationship between nutrition and liver health.
