Vigilance

The Punjab Food Authority established its Vigilance Wing in April, 2017 headed by the Director Vigilance under the supervision of worthy Director General, to conduct field surveillance against the food adulterators in the Punjab. Over the time the scope of Vigilance Wing has been expanded to highlight the unregistered points and surveillance of PFA staff.

  • Collecting Information from Informers/Public Complaints/Data Banks, about Adulteration.
  • Identify Adulteration Activities /Points/Information collected from our sources.
  • Confirmation of the Adulteration Points/activities by Field Visits/ Racce.
  • Coordinate & Send Information to OPERATION WING for necessary Action.
