Punjab Food Authority Rajanpur Promotes Hydration Awareness at Mian Shaib School

As part of the Summer Dehydration Awareness Campaign, Punjab Food Authority Rajanpur, under the guidance of the Director General PFA and Deputy Director Operations Rajanpur, organized a successful Health Screening Camp and Nutrition Awareness Seminar at Government Primary School Mian Shaib.

 

With the participation of 55 students, the event focused on educating young minds about the health risks associated with dehydration and the foods that worsen it. Key topics included the role of hydration in physical and mental health, the harmful effects of sugary and caffeinated drinks, and essential nutrients required during hot weather to maintain overall well-being.

The session also highlighted the varying hydration needs at different life stages, emphasizing how children, adolescents, and adults can benefit from balanced nutrition to combat summer heat. Educational brochures were distributed, offering practical tips for staying hydrated. The school management appreciated the initiative and praised Punjab Food Authority Rajanpur for its consistent commitment to public health and nutrition awareness.
