Under the guidance of the Director General Punjab Food Authority and the Deputy Director Operations Rajanpur, the Nutrition Section of PFA Rajanpur successfully conducted a Health Screening Camp and Nutrition Awareness Seminar at RHC Fazilpur The session, attended by around 100 participants, focused on growth monitoring and Nutritional Check ups, highlighting the importance of balanced diets and proper hydration during hot weather. Experts discussed summer dehydration, preventive measures, and the negative impact of caffeine and sugary drinks on hydration, along with the vital role of essential nutrients in supporting physical and mental well-being.
Special emphasis was placed on the nutritional needs of different age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults, to prevent fatigue, dizziness, mental fog, and heat related complications. Nutrition focused brochures were distributed among students to encourage healthy lifestyle practices. The school management praised Punjab Food Authority, Rajanpur, for its continuous efforts to raise awareness and protect community health through proactive nutrition education initiatives.
