As part of its ongoing Summer Dehydration Awareness Campaign, Nutrition Section of Punjab Food Authority Rajanpur, under the guidance of the Director General PFA and Deputy Director Operations, organized a Health Screening Camp and Nutrition Awareness Seminar at Government Primary School Malkani. With the participation of 30 students, the session aimed to educate students and staff on how to manage suspected gastroenteritis outbreaks at home, understand the causes of dehydration during summer, and recognize the negative impacts of caffeine and sugary drinks on hydration.
The seminar emphasized the importance of proper hydration and a balanced diet in supporting both physical and mental well-being, particularly in hot weather. Nutritional guidance tailored to various age groups children, adolescents, and adults was also shared. Nutrition focused brochures were distributed among the students, and the school management appreciated Punjab Food Authority Rajanpur for its ongoing efforts in promoting public health and awareness.
