Under the directions of the Director General Punjab Food Authority and Deputy Director Operations Rajanpur, the Nutrition Section of PFA Rajanpur organized a Health Screening Camp and Nutrition Awareness Seminar on “Causes of Dehydration in Adults and Children” at GGHS Kotla Androon. Sixty participants attended the session, which aimed to educate students about the importance of hydration, the negative effects of caffeinated and sugary drinks, and the role of essential nutrients in maintaining health during hot weather.
The seminar also addressed hydration needs at different life stages, the physical and mental benefits of proper fluid intake, and the risks associated with poor hydration, such as fatigue, heatstroke, and reduced concentration. Nutrition focused brochures were distributed among students, and the school management appreciated Punjab Food Authority Rajanpur for its continued efforts in promoting public health and nutrition awareness.
