Punjab Food Authority (PFA) Chiniot, under the directives of the Director General and the supervision of the Additional and Deputy Directors of Operations, successfully conducted a Nutrition Awareness Seminar at Government College University, Chiniot.
With over 350 participants, the session focused on the crucial topic of “Hydration Strategies,” highlighting the risks and management of dehydration, especially during summer. Students were educated on the causes and symptoms of dehydration and practical tips for prevention, such as adequate water intake, healthy dietary choices, and avoiding sugary or caffeinated beverages.
The seminar also included an introduction to PFA and its departments, outlining the authority’s mission and operational structure. As part of the Summer Dehydration Awareness Campaign, the session promoted the concept of a sustainable, healthy diet for long-term well-being. The Chairman of the Department appreciated PFA’s dedication to public health awareness and thanked the authority for delivering such a valuable and engaging seminar.
