Under the directions of the Deputy Director Operations Multan, Punjab Food Authority, in collaboration with the Life Protection Society and the Fatimid Foundation for Thalassemia children, successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp at the PFA Training School Building. The event emphasized the Quran message: “And whoever saves one life, it is as if he had saved all of mankind” (Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:32). Officials and staff from multiple government directorates, including Highways, Buildings, and Wildlife, actively participated in this noble cause. Awareness talks were delivered by Ahmad Shaker, Head of the Life Protection Society, highlighting the significance of voluntary blood donation in saving precious lives.
Alongside the camp, the Nutrition Section, PFA Multan set up a Nutrition Counselling Desk to provide personalized guidance on supporting blood health, proper hydration, and recovery nutrition for donors. The event showcased strong interdepartmental collaboration and reflected PFA’s commitment to advancing both public health and community welfare. Participants highly appreciated the joint efforts of Punjab Food Authority, Life Protection Society, and Fatimid Foundation in promoting life saving initiatives integrated with nutrition awareness.
