The Punjab Food Authority Rajanpur, under the guidance of the Director General PFA and Deputy Director Operations Rajanpur, successfully conducted a Summer Dehydration Awareness Campaign at Government Primary School, Railway Colony, Rajanpur. The event featured a Health Screening Camp and Nutrition Awareness Seminar aimed at educating students on the importance of proper hydration and nutrition, particularly during intense summer heat. A total of 100 students actively participated in the session.
The seminar covered a wide range of important topics including the role of hydration and immune health. the dangers of excessive caffeine and sugary drinks, and the nutritional needs of different age groups. Students were made aware of the signs of dehydration, its impact on both mental and physical health, and the long-term risks of poor dietary habits. Informative brochures were also distributed among students to reinforce the key messages. The school administration expressed appreciation for the PFA’s efforts in promoting health literacy among young learners.
