PFA Rajanpur Educates Students on Dehydration Risks and Homemade Remedies

Under the directions of the Director General Punjab Food Authority and Deputy Director Operations Rajanpur, the Nutrition Section of PFA Rajanpur organized a Health Screening Camp and Nutrition Awareness Seminar at Government Girls Primary School Mouuza Thairi. Attended by 54 participants, the session focused on Homemade Remedies for Gastro and Rehydration while emphasizing the importance of proper hydration and nutrient intake during the summer months. Students were informed about the causes and prevention of summer dehydration, the harmful effects of caffeine and sugary drinks, and the physical and mental health benefits of healthy hydration practices.

 

The seminar further highlighted essential nutrients for hot weather, specific hydration needs at different life stages, and the health risks associated with dehydration and unbalanced diets, such as fatigue, dizziness, heatstroke, and reduced concentration. Nutrition focused brochures were distributed among students, and the school management praised Punjab Food Authority Rajanpur for its continued commitment to public health education and awareness.
