Nutrition Section Punjab Food Authority Conducts Nutritional Assessment Camp at Pakistan Bait-Ul-Maal Orphanage

The Nutrition Section of Punjab Food Authority, Lahore, organized a nutrition assessment and awareness camp at Pakistan Bait-Ul-Maal Orphanage to evaluate the nutritional status of children, address diet-related health concerns, and promote the importance of balanced eating habits.

A total of 58 children participated in the camp, where Nutrition professionals measured height, weight, and other key growth indicators to assess overall physical development.

Each child’s dietary history was recorded to identify nutritional gaps, followed by one-on-one counseling sessions to provide individualized dietary advice based on age and nutritional needs. Informative nutrition materials were also distributed to help children and caregivers make better food choices. This initiative reflects the Nutrition Section’s continued efforts to improve child health through proactive assessment, education, and community engagement.
