Under the guidance of the Director General Punjab Food Authority and Deputy Director Operations Rajanpur, Nutrition Section of PFA Rajanpur successfully conducted a Health Screening Camp and Nutrition Awareness Seminar at Government Girls Primary School, Basti Mohib Ali. With 60 participants in attendance, the session focused on the theme “Hydration and Skin Health During Summer”. The event aimed to educate students and staff about the vital importance of hydration, especially in extreme weather conditions, and highlighted the adverse effects of caffeine, sugary drinks, and poor dietary habits on both physical and mental well-being.
Key discussions covered essential hydration strategies, age-specific nutritional needs, and the risks associated with unbalanced diets during summer. Informative brochures were distributed among students to reinforce learning and promote healthier choices. The school management expressed their appreciation for the efforts of Punjab Food Authority Rajanpur in raising health awareness and fostering a culture of preventive nutrition in the region.
