The Nutrition Section of PFA Hafizabad, in collaboration with the Shoukat Ismail Medical Complex (SIMC), successfully conducted a Nutrition Awareness & Screening Camp. This initiative highlights the critical role of nutrition in preventing and managing health conditions, serving as both a preventative and treatment strategy. Over 300 patients attended the camp, where they received valuable insights and screenings related to their nutritional and metabolic health.
The camp primarily catered to patients with a history of diabetes, high cholesterol, anemia, and post-cesarean weight gain, underscoring the prevalent health issues within the community. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of a balanced diet and encourage healthy lifestyle choices across all age groups. The hospital administration and local community appreciated the efforts of PFA, expressing gratitude for the collaboration dedicated to community well-being.
