The Punjab Food Authority, under the direction of the Director General and Deputy Director Operations, conducted a successful seminar and camp at Garrison School in Jhang, aiming to raise awareness about nutrition among children. The event, titled “Spreading Nutrition Awareness among Children,” engaged 200 participants, empowering them with essential knowledge on healthy eating habits, food safety, and hygiene practices. Interactive sessions covered topics such as macro and micronutrients, the benefits of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins, along with practical demonstrations of nutritious meals and lunchbox ideas. Educational materials were distributed to further reinforce the importance of a balanced diet for overall well-being.
The seminar received positive feedback, with the principal praising the Punjab Food Authority’s efforts to promote healthy living. “We appreciate the effort of Punjab Food Authority Jhang for taking the time to educate our children about healthy living.
