The Nutrition Section of the Punjab Food Authority (PFA) organized a Nutrition Awareness and Screening Camp at Govt Boys High School, Gohawa Lahore Cantt. Under the theme “Nutrition for Healthy Growth and Nourishment,” the camp aimed to educate children and staff about healthy eating habits and the importance of dietary modifications for well-being. A total of 63 participants attended the event, receiving practical guidance on balanced nutrition.
Key activities included anthropometric measurements (weight, height, BMI, and fat analysis) and dietary history assessments using 24-hour recall and food frequency questionnaires. One-on-one counseling sessions offered personalized diet plans, while brochures and awareness materials were distributed to encourage long-term healthy habits. The initiative highlighted PFA’s commitment to promoting nutrition awareness and fostering well-being among children from an early age.
